To enhance the competitiveness and reputation of the hotel industry in Taoyuan, the Taoyuan City Government’s Department of Tourism has launched the "Taoyuan Good Lodging" quality accommodation brand. This year, 52 high-quality hotels and bed and breakfasts (B&Bs) were selected, demonstrating the joint efforts of the quality lodging industry and the Taoyuan City Government in promoting Taoyuan tourism.
Diverse Evaluation Criteria in Taoyuan Good Lodging to Emphasize User Experience
This evaluation was divided into three categories: "Hotels with International Highlights," "Hotels as Excellent Models," and "B&Bs." In the "Hotels with International Highlights" category, the focus was on whether the hotel has unique features that attract international travelers, as well as the level of friendliness towards international guests, environmental sustainability, and creative experiences. The "Hotels as Excellent Models" category emphasized the hotel operators' management, service quality, and social responsibility. In the "B&Bs" category, the emphasis was on the unique characteristics of the B&Bs and the quality of guest services.
Inviting High-Profile Advisory Judges to Enhance the Reputation of Taoyuan Good Lodging
For this evaluation, Taoyuan Good Lodging specially invited a high-profile advisory panel consisting of well-known domestic brand entrepreneurs, business consultants, and expert scholars. They conducted on-site evaluations at various accommodations, applying their professional knowledge and extensive experience to rigorously select quality hotels in Taoyuan. They provided each business with health check reports and practical suggestions for improving service quality, ensuring that Taoyuan's accommodations maintain high standards in both their facilities and services, thereby enhancing their unique features and characteristics.
