Taoyuan City Government launches travel e-vouchers program to encourage Taoyuan residents to boost Taoyuan's economy. Residents can tour and spend in Taoyuan without having to go to other counties and cities, thus reaching the goal of revitalizing the regional economy.
Revitalizing Taoyuan tourism, Taoyuan residents obtain NT$500 travel e-vouchers online
To revitalize Taoyuan tourism and encourage the residents to go outdoors, Taoyuan is seeking help from Taoyuan residents by issuing NT$500 travel e-vouchers exclusive to them. The vouchers can be used in partner stores in the tourism industry, hotel industry (including food and beverages), shopping district, tourism factories, etc. The Department started to recruit shops June 1st. Operators in the tourism industry, such as tourist hotels, normal hotels, B&Bs, tourism industry, tourism factories, etc., that are legally set up in Taoyuan City, whose business addresses are in Taoyuan City, have completed company registration, commercial registration or tax registration, and are legally registered small-scale physical stores in food and beverages, retail, etc., may be listed as participating stores upon approval by the government. It is estimated that at least 500 shops can join.
