2019 Northern-Cross Cherry Blossom Festival takes place between February 25th and March 24th. A series of events include the Northern-Cross Cherry Blossom Certificate Awarding Cycling Challenge, music events, photography marketing campaign and Lalashan cherry blossom viewing Facebook promotional event. The

Northern-Cross Cherry Blossom Certificate Awarding Cycling Challenge offers two certified routes. Lalashan route starts from Jiang Jing Guo Memorial Hall in Touliao (starting stop for stamp collection), Sanmin, Luofu Visitor Center (stop for stamp collection), Baling Bridge, and finishes at Lalashan Visitor Center (finishing stop for stamp collection). Dongyan Mountain Route starts from Jiang Jing Guo Memorial Hall in Taoliao (starting stop for stamp collection), passes by Jiaobanshan Residence (stop for stamp collection) and comes to an end at Dongyanshan National Forest Recreation Area (finishing stop for stamp collection).

During the festival, there are cherry blossom themed music performances on every weekend at Lalashan Visitor Center. The stage features performing groups from local schools, music clubs and professional bands.

In addition, a photography contest is held this year to further promote the beauty of Lalashan and local tourism.
